Park Rules and Information
CHECK-IN/OUT TIME:
- Check-in is at 12:00 noon
- Check-out is at 11:30 am
- No arrivals after 10 pm
- If you want to stay past your paid-through date, please call the office at 979-732-9494 to confirm space availability prior to 10:00 a.m. We take reservations up to one (1) year in advance and it may be necessary to make changes.
OFFICE/GIFT SHOP HOURS:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Saturday – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
- Closed Thursday and Sunday.
MAIL & PACKAGES:
- Receiving mail and packages is a courtesy we offer. The Whispering Oaks RV Park address is 2965 Highway 90, Weimar, Texas 78962. This address may not be used as a “legal address” for personal (home address/driver’s license) or business purposes.
AFTER HOURS REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN:
- Reservations after hours are easy! Go to our website www.whisperingoaksrvpark.com and click on the “Make A Reservation” button, enter your information, pick your site, and pay for your stay. An envelope with your name/or site number will be in the blue mailbox that reads “with reservation”.
QUIET TIME:
- Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Your music and TV are for your ears only. Please respect the tranquility of our park and your neighbors.
SPEED LIMIT:
- 5 (five) MPH - Please observe it.
- Guests and pets walk the roads in our park. Please drive safely and be aware!
PAYMENTS:
- A one-night stay is due and payable when the reservation is made. The remainder of the reservation is due upon arrival.
- Rates are subject to change without notice.
- Monthly site fees and any other payments are due and payable each month per the RV Registration Agreement. A late fee of $75.00 will be assessed on the second day for nonpayment, if no prior arrangements have been made.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to the day of arrival. There is a $10.00 cancellation fee. If the reservation was made on-line, the reservation fee is non-refundable ($5.00).
- Cancellations made within 48 hours will forfeit an amount equal to 1 night’s stay.
- We do not prorate weekly or extended (monthly) stay rates, which means no refunds will be given if our weekly and extended stay guests leave before departure date.
- Reservation is viewed as a “two-way” agreement. We hold the space, which you have reserved, turning away all future requests, in return for payment of your deposit (one night’s stay). Noshows will receive no credit or refund.
- No refunds will be given for situations beyond our control (i.e. weather, natural disaster, illness).
RV SITE:
- There is a maximum of six (6) people, one (1) RV; and two (2) vehicles per site. Two (2) people are included in our rates. There is an additional $2 per person per night up to the maximum. Additional vehicles must park in “over-flow” parking at the front of the park.
- DO NOT PARK OR DRIVE ON THE GRASS
- The site is for your RV and up to two motor vehicles. Additional vehicles must park in “overflow” parking at the front of the park. Cars that are not registered or in disrepair will not be allowed to stay in the park.
- Everyone has their own site. Please respect other guest sites and walk around, not through their site.
- All RVs must be fully self-contained, well-kept and in good condition. Extended stay guests are required to use their own bathroom facilities and wash their RV once a year.
- No major vehicle repairs shall be made on these premises. Service work, including changing oil and lubing, is prohibited.
- Dispose of cigarette butts appropriately (not on the ground). Please dispose of food properly OR you can expect critters to visit your site! If any debris remains after check-out, guests will be charged a $50.00 clean-up fee.
- Your site must be kept neat, clean and free of boxes, litter or trash. No clotheslines, refrigerators/freezers, storage bins, gazebos, grill shelters, weight sets, indoor furniture, or hazardous materials, are allowed outside on your site.
- Please do not put mats or rugs on the grass.
- No tents/tent camping or sleeping in vehicles outside of the RV is allowed.
- You may not assign or sublet your site, even if you sell your RV. One of the owners must be an occupant of the RV that occupies the site.
- Please secure your valuables. We are not responsible for stolen property.
- Please do not attempt to change or correct any problems with park facilities (water, sewer, electric). Notify the office or maintenance of the problem.
- The trash dumpster is located at the front of the park. Do not collect trash outside of your RV or the critters will find it and spread it EVERYWHERE. Boxes must be flattened.
SEWER CONNECTIONS:
- We are on a septic system. Please do not flush anything that is not “SEPTIC SAFE”. Never flush flushable cleansing cloths, cooking oil, paper towels or feminine products.
- All water hoses/sewer lines must be free from leaks; and sewer lines must be on a slinky and have a threaded attachment into the sewer.
VEHICLE PARKING – DO NOT DRIVE ON OR PARK ON THE GRASS.
- You may park in designated areas only. Parking on roads, vacant sites or grass is not allowed.
- Utility trailers, tent trailers, tent camping, converted horse trailers, boats, and trampolines are not allowed on the site.
- Parking on the road is not allowed unless you are loading or unloading. (5 minutes max).
- Do not use a vacant site for any reason, including a drive through. Do not block roads or driveways. Parking is on the gravel in your site. If the vehicle(s) do not fit, we have overflow parking in front of the park.
CAMPFIRES:
- Campfires are allowed unless we are under a burn ban.
- A firepit and firewood are available through the office ($).
- An adult must supervise campfires at all times.
- Please make sure the fire is completely extinguished before retiring to your RV.
CHILDREN AND GUESTS:
- You are responsible for the safety and conduct of your children and visiting guests.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Visitors must comply with all Park Rules and Regulations.
- Damage caused by you, your family, or your visiting guests is your responsibility.
- If guests are staying overnight, there is an additional charge. A guest is considered an overnight visitor after 10:00 pm. Due to limited parking (2 vehicles per site, if they fit on the gravel site) guests must park in the guest parking lot at the front of the park.
- Codes are for paying guests only and should not be shared with anyone that is not a paying guest.
- Common courtesy shall prevail between all persons on Whispering Oaks RV Park property. Obnoxious, profane, abusive or threatening language, behavior and/or actions directed at Whispering Oaks RV Park personnel or guests, or that could adversely affect the enjoyment of other parties utilizing our facility is prohibited. Anyone engaging in such activity will be required to leave the park immediately without refund at the sole discretion of park management.
APPROVED VS. PROHIBITED:
- Golf carts are allowed, but all drivers must have a valid driver’s license.
- ATVs, minibikes or two or three wheeled motorized vehicles cannot be driven in the park.
- Loud parties, excessive drinking, offensive language, or other unacceptable behavior by guests are not permitted.
- The possession, sale or manufacture of illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia is prohibited on the property at Whispering Oaks RV Park.
- No fireworks.
- No smoking in any park building.
- No discharge or use of firearms or fireworks in the park.
PETS:
- A fenced dog park is provided for you to exercise your pet.
- ALL PETS MUST BE ON A LEASH WHEN OUTSIDE OF THE RV (no longer than six (6) feet long).
- Pick up your pet’s waste IMMEDIATELY and dispose of it properly. This includes around your site and anywhere on the park property. This is a health issue for everyone and if you do not comply you will be asked to vacate the park.
- Animals are the exclusive responsibility of their owners.
- Each pet must have a current rabies certificate when checking in and remain current for the duration of your stay. Upon request, certificates must be submitted to park management within seven days of request.
- All pets must be registered with the office.
- Maximum of four (4) quiet, well-mannered pets are allowed per site.
- All pets are to be kept inside at night and never left unattended.
- Any pet running loose in the park will be turned over to SPCA or another authority. Recurring violations of this rule will lead to losing the privilege to maintain a pet and/or departure from the park without refund.
- Pets will not be allowed to cause any disturbance which might annoy neighbors. This includes, but is not limited to, barking, growling, biting, or any other unusual noises or damage. Under no condition is a pet to invade the privacy of anyone’s site. Pet owners are responsible for their pets, including injury, destruction, and annoyances to other guests. The park and management shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused by the guests’ pet.
- Any exterior pet enclosures are prohibited. Tying up pets outside the RV and/or leaving them unattended outside is prohibited.
- It is the pet owner’s responsibility to pick up after your pet, after every poop deposit. A $50.00 clean up fee will be assessed to your card on file, if you leave a pile for maintenance to clean up.
INDEMNIFICATION: Whispering Oaks RV Park shall not be responsible in any way for accidents, injuries, or loss from any cause. Customers shall indemnify and hold Whispering Oaks RV Park personnel and owners harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, costs, or expenses due to weather, civil strife, or acts of God, as well as from any and all actions or inactions of other customers, guests, invitees or persons.
This is a privately owned facility. Owner and management assume NO RESPONSIBILITY for accidents, injuries, or losses of any kind from any cause. Management reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone, at any time, for any reason, including condition of and/or type of amping unit.
Violation of these park rules is grounds for removal from the park WITHOUT REFUND.
